| exciting first day at PWH A&E cause I needed to cover R room almost non-stop R room cases 1. chest pain seen as cat 3 => developed seizure and transferred to R room => seizure stopped spontaneously => witnessed sudden arrest with ventricular fibrillation rhythm => precordial thump => CPR + Defibrillation x 1 => revert to sinus => found to have STEMI in inferior leads => O2, Morphine, Aspirin, then Streptokinase => CCU 2. Drug overdose with Gastric lavage done (rarely done these days) |
